Just because a Microsoft SQL Azure database lives in the cloud doesn't mean that you can't manage it effectively in ways similar to the ways you manage on-premise SQL databases. In particular, the SQL Azure product team is constantly adding important PowerShell cmdlets for managing databases, servers, and firewall rules.
